Not only are they truly knowledgeable about the latest state-of-the-art equipment, they are also exceptional in their ability to design whole house systems and then install them both professionally and beautifully.

Mouse over to roll out the rack!

The biggest surprise. Logic Integration was established only three years ago in January, 2004. Since then, it has built its reputation and $3 million in sales mainly from word-of-mouth referrals from happy customers such as the Denver World Trade Center; a 14,000 sq ft Ferrari Motor Sports dealership; the 96,000 sq ft Praise Church with multiple auditoriums, coffee bar and information centers; Exclusive Resorts luxury residence club; area retailers such as six Appliance World stores and The Wine-Seller; custom home builders; and many satisfied homeowners.

What is the secret behind Logic Integration's quickly established success? Shawn Hansson, President of Logic Integration, states, "Anyone can install a system, but here at Logic Integration we are passionate about our work. We are proud to build longlasting relationships with our customers by providing outstanding service using key Logic Integration staff such as Brian Thompson and KC Craig, being respectful and professional while in customers' homes, and by providing consistent, clean craftsmanship."

But computer connectivity is just one of the many new features that make the RHINO 6000 the most advanced label printer in the RHINO product family. Other features include RHINO's exclusive “Hot Keys” that help users save time by instantly formatting commonly used label formats such as horizontal and vertical wire wraps, flags, vertical and fixed length labels, serialized patch panels, common barcodes and much more. A built-in library includes over 250 pre-programmed industry symbols and terms for audio/video, voice/data, and security. Plus, tons of memory allows users to customize over 1,000 labels with logos, symbols and industry terms – and recall them in an instant.

The Cornerstone of Craftsmanship Upon viewing one of their installations, it doesn't take long to see evidence of their superior craftsmanship. Attention to details is key. Convenient location of volume controls, appropriate ventilation of equipment, and matching color schemes for components and bezels are just some of the small details that make a big difference.

Logic Integration also works with architects, interior designers, cabinet makers, contractors and other professionals to plan their systems for a solution that fits the homeowners' lifestyle. Whether that style is sleek and modern or grand elegance, not only will the system function well, it will blend effortlessly into the home décor - while still being designed with forethought for expansions and upgrades that the homeowner may want in the future.

Another sign of craftsmanship is the behind-the-scene finishing touches Logic Integration adds to every system. It's not enough to just install a system; they install it with neat, organized color-coded cable runs and with every wire, panel, port, switch, button and knob clearly labeled for identification.

"You'd be surprised by how many other companies don't label their installations," says Hansson. "In projects where we've been hired to come in and fix an existing system, it's frustrating just trying to figure out what goes where. That's why we clearly label every wire and component from end to end. If there is ever a need to go back to upgrade or expand a system, either we or the homeowner will be able to identify the connections in minutes, not hours or days."

The Cost of Not Labeling The cost of not properly labeling a system can really add up for both installation companies and homeowners. If system wires and components have not been properly labeled, it could cost installers hours of time just in determining connections. And with most installers paid on an hourly basis, this could take a chunk out of the overall profits. or worse, be passed on to the homeowner, thereby reducing a company's competitive edge. To avoid this problem, Logic Integration has standardized on RHINO professional label printers for marking all their installations. "We now have six of them," stated Hansson.

The concrete cost of not labeling becomes evident as Hansson recalls, "In one project, we were hired to retrofit an entire home. Another audio/video company had initially started the work, but it didn't take long for the homeowners to realize that the installers really didn't know all that they implied they knew. So when we came in, the house was already improperly wired -- and nothing was labeled."

He continues, "It would have taken a team of five installers about 16 hours - or approximately $3800 in labor -- just to trace back the wiring to see where each run went. Instead, it was more cost-effective just to remove the wires and start from scratch. Of course, we then labeled each connection with our RHINO printers as we went along. It takes just a few minutes, but eliminates a lot of hassle, frustration, and wasted time and money in the long run. We never leave anyone guessing."

Brian Thompson of Logic Integration adds, "The customer was awestruck by the cleanliness of our work when we were done."

The Rewards of Superior Work
In just three short years, Logic Integration has expertly installed systems in new residential developments and commercial structures, as well as retrofits in office space, restaurants, retail stores, municipal buildings, auditoriums, churches, multi-million dollar homes and more. "Most of our projects come from word of mouth, so I guess that says a lot about the quality of our work," states Hansson.

One of the most recent projects that Logic Integration acquired through word-of-mouth referral is a $226,000 retrofit installation in a 11,000 sq. ft. luxury home.

"This project includes sophisticated systems in the kitchen, theater, master bedroom, his bathroom, her bathroom, his study, her study, the pool house, child's room and a whole-house security camera system. There are Crestron touch screens in each of those rooms, five surround sound systems, five wireless headphone systems, 14 CCTV cameras with an IP based DVR server, four racks. in all, about 140 electronic components," summarizes Hansson.

He adds, "That homeowner's brother is so impressed, we're starting on his house next."
